As I entered the Port Hope Golf and Country Club I just knew this day, the day Kevin and Amanda would promise forever to each other would be perfect. From the gorgeous weather, the smiling guests, the fierrrce looking bridesmaids and dreamy groomsmen everything had come together into a fairytale kind of day.
the handsome shot above of Kevin was taken by Signey (my assistant)
When I walked up to the bridal suite I could hear the girls chatting and laughing and just having a great time getting ready together and I was excited that I was able to share in their laughs and stories. As Amanda put on the finishing touches of her makeup and got into her dress, she was radiant.
After a few girly pictures inside the suite we headed out onto the golf course to soak in the sun and get a few more shots before the guests started to arrive. Amanda was sooo organized and knew exactly what she wanted in terms of time line because she said that she just wanted everything to flow so her and Kevin could join the party as soon as possible and have time to relax and visit with all their friends and family. When the guests started to arrive we headed back up to the bridal suite and waited. Waited for the time when she would go from her fathers arm to Kevins, when she would no longer be the girlfriend or fiance but a wife to the man she loves and who wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

The ceremony was a dream. As a light breeze swept over the golf course the horse and carriage pulled up and Amanda and her father stepped out. He escorted her down the aisle where Kevin waited to promise her a lifetime full of happiness and love, and waited to seal their forever with a kiss.
Kevin and Amanda thank you so much! I had the most wonderful time at your wedding. You both were gorgeous and enjoyed so much sharing in this day with you. I wish you sooo much happiness and I hope you honeymoon was amazing!

The day started in the Novotel Hotel in Toronto. As Allison , her parents and bridesmaids got glamorous with eyelashes, shoes (that were to die for) cute clutches and finally their stunning dresses, there was excitement all around. Excitement to see their friend and sister walk down the aisle and say ‘forever’. Excitement to see their daughter become a wife. Excitement to exchange arms with her father to what would soon be the man she will grow old with. Excitement and love from all around.
The groomsmen on the other hand, were anxious … scouring you tube for ‘how to’ videos because not one of them knew what knot would secure their ties, that is until Matt showed up to shoot the ‘getting ready shots’, he managed to tie the proper knots and got some great photos too!
Greg was soooo sweet to write a little note to each of the bridesmaids!
We all met in the Distillery District in Toronto for a ‘First Look’ and bridal party shots. This was such a great way to start the day because it allowed us TONS of time for group shots and shots of just the bride and groom, and it also left them lots of time after the ceremony to enjoy their friends and family.
This was a bow off of Allison's moms wedding dress, it was her 'something old' and she pinned it underneath her own dress.

The Distillery District offered such cool spots, I could shoot there everyday!

yayyyy for the details (which Allison made most of!)
The Enoch Turner schoolhouse was ahhhmmaaazing! Such a unique venue!

Allisons Father looked so proud to walk his daughter down the aisle, it was beautiful.

And I'm going to end with this shot of one of the groomsmen and his 'dance in' because its hilarious and jsut reminds me of how fun and wonderful the evening was!
Greg and Allison, it was a pleasure getting to know you both. I felt so comfortable chatting away with you and getting to know your friends and family, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Your wedding was beautiful and I just want to thank you so much for letting me be there to capture you both on this day. I wish you so much love and all the best things life has to offer!
